A growing family run business since 2006
Here at Seagrave Inspections we are still continuing to carry out inspections on all outdoor play areas. Our inspectors will be wearing the recommended PPE and practicing social distancing at all times. If you require any inspections please do no hesitate to contact us.
We can offer Post Installation, Routine, Operational and Annual inspections carried out by our fully trained and DBS checked safety inspectors.
We will provide you upon completion with a electronic full colour detailed report complete with site photos, item photos and overall risk assessment.
Seagrave Inspection Services Ltd are an approved Training Centre for the RPII to deliver both the Routine and Operational Level courses and examinations.
We can offer comprehensive training for staff in all aspects of playground inspections and able them to achieve the relevant accreditations.
Here at Seagrave Inspections we have a specialist piece of equipment that can detect various stages of rot/decay on all types of wooden items.
Our Managing Director Peter Briggs has over 14 years experience in the field of children's play areas and is a time served City & Guilds mechanical engineer so he can be a useful asset while planning the build of a new play area. This can save you time and money in the long run by making sure you get full value for the play area whilst still complying to the EN standards of fall zones and free space.
Our inspectors have noticed an increasing number of loose fixings from a certain type of "D" shackle fixing so recommend checking these regularly if you have any installed on your play equipment to insure they do not become a serious risk.
We would recommend having any older wooden equipment checked for internal rot/decay after the extreme weather we have had recently, give us a call or an email to find out more or to arrange a quote for a rot/decay detection test to put your mind at rest!
Over the years here at Seagrave Inspections we have sponsored the great work that they do at The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and have proudly helped to support the growth and training of several dogs from puppy to adult.
Here is our latest ambassador, meet Biscuit.
Seagrave Inspection Services has now gone international and flown out to Latvia to run an Operational Level Exam, with all candidates passing with flying colours!
Call or email us for a quote on training courses ran at either your premises or our own!
We have purchased a new piece of equipment called a PD micro drill! It is used for detecting rot & decay in all wooden equipment i.e. swings, multiplay, benches, zip lines, fencing etc.
